APE Racing wheels are built using a friction welding process developed for high-strength structural applications. This method creates a solid metallurgical bond between components without melting the base material, resulting in a clean, consistent joint with excellent structural integrity.

Compared to traditional welding, friction welding produces a more uniform grain structure and eliminates common issues such as porosity and weak heat-affected zones. The result is a joint that maintains material strength and durability under extreme load.
